Ingredients
- 1 c green beans
- ¼ tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 TBSP dried cranberries
- 2 TBSP sliced almonds
- ¼ c red onions
- ⅛ oz. of orange or lemon juice
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Steam green beans at medium high heat for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a small skillet over medium heat.
- Add green beans, red onion and salt; cook and stir until tender, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook another two minutes.
- Add almonds and cranberries; toss lightly to combine.
- Pour orange or lemon juice over the green beans and season with the pepper. Continue to combine. Green beans should be tender. Be careful not to overcook.
