Grady to participate in UnitedHealthcare’s commercial and Medicare Advantage network

Grady Health System and UnitedHealthcare have reached an agreement that provides people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare employer-sponsored, individual and Medicare Advantage plans network access to Grady’s hospital, facilities and physicians, effective May 15, 2023.
The new multi-year relationship will provide Georgians access to Grady Memorial Hospital, Grady’s six neighborhood health centers, and its brand-new outpatient center, Correll Pavilion.

Grady is one of the largest safety net health systems in the United States. With its nationally acclaimed emergency medical services, Grady is the only nationally verified adult Level I trauma center in the Metro Atlanta region and serves as the 911 ambulance provider for the city of Atlanta. Grady’s Walter L. Ingram Burn Center is the leading adult and pediatric burn center in north Georgia while the Marcus Stroke and Neuroscience Center is a Joint Commission designated Advanced Comprehensive Stroke Center.

In Georgia, UnitedHealthcare serves approximately 1.2 million people with a network of more than 160 hospitals and 43,000 physicians and other care providers statewide.
