Entrance Changes

We’ve made some important changes to the way you enter the hospital from Pratt Street. Grady’s Pratt Street entrances at the Senior Care Pharmacy and Healing Garden will be open from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

If you are visiting in the evening or on weekends, please use the Clinic Atrium entrance (Grady’s Main Entrance) on Jesse Hill Jr. Drive across from Gilmer Street or the Emergency Department entrance. Both are open 24/7/365.

Driving Directions

From the North

Take Southbound I-75/85 to downtown Atlanta. Exit at 248D (Jesse Hill Jr. Drive). Cross over Edgewood Avenue. Continue on Jesse Hill past the front of the hospital. The Butler Street Parking Deck entrance is on the left.

From the South

Take Northbound I-75/85 toward downtown Atlanta. You will pass Grady Memorial Hospital on the left. Take Exit 248B (Edgewood Avenue) and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Go to the second light and turn left onto Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. Continue past the front of the hospital. The Butler Street Parking Deck entrance is on the left.

From the West

Take I-20 east toward downtown Atlanta to I-75/85 North. Take Northbound I-75/85 toward downtown Atlanta. You will pass Grady Memorial Hospital on the left. Take Exit 248B (Edgewood Avenue) and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Go to the second light and turn left onto Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. Continue past the front of the hospital. The Butler Street Parking Deck entrance is on the left.

From the East

Take I-20 west toward downtown Atlanta to I-75/85 North. Take Northbound I-75/85 toward downtown Atlanta. You will pass Grady Memorial Hospital on the left. Take Exit 248B (Edgewood Avenue) and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Go to the second light and turn left onto Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. Continue past the front of the hospital. From Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

Take Northbound I-75/85 toward downtown Atlanta. You will pass Grady Memorial Hospital on the left. Take Exit 248B (Edgewood Avenue) and turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Go to the second light and turn left onto Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. Continue past the front of the hospital. The Butler Street Parking Deck entrance is on the left.

Parking

Butler Street Parking Deck is located at 92 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE and is attached to the Main Grady campus. The deck is open 24 hours a day; seven days a week. Enter the parking deck on Jesse Hill Jr. Drive. Parking is $1 for every 20 minutes – up to a maximum of $6 per 24-hour period. Pay upon exit using cash, credit or debit card.

Public Transportation (MARTA)

MARTA offers two options to access Grady Health System’s main campus. MARTA’s bus route options do change, please check MARTA’s website (itsmarta.com) for complete information.

Option #1: Rail

Take MARTA’s East-West rail line to stop E1 — Georgia State Station. From the station, walk two blocks north on Piedmont Avenue. Turn right onto Gilmer Street. Walk one block east on Gilmer, to Jesse Hill Jr. Drive.

Option #2: Bus

Take MARTA bus Route 99 which passes in front of Grady Memorial Hospital and puts you directly onto the Health System campus.

From Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

Take any Northbound train to the Five Points Station. Take MARTA’s East rail line to stop E1 — Georgia State Station. From the station, walk two blocks north on Piedmont Avenue. Turn right onto Gilmer Street. Walk one block east on Gilmer Street, to Jesse Hill Jr. Drive.
