Program Effectiveness

The School of Radiation Therapy tracks student learning outcomes and program effectiveness data. The data is collected from program statistics and surveys.

The Program adheres to the following minimum standards:

  1. A five-year average credentialing examination pass rate of not less than 75% at first attempt.
  2. A five-year average job placement rate of not less than 75% within twelve months of graduation.
  3. An annual student completion rate of not less than 80%.

**The JRCERT requires programs to use the total number of graduates who actively sought employment in the radiologic sciences.  The JRCERT defines “not actively seeking employment” as’

  1. Graduate fails to communicate with program officials regarding employment status after multiple attempts, OR
  2. Graduate is unwilling to seek employment that requires relocation, OR
  3. Graduate is unwilling to accept employment due to salary or hours, OR
  4. Graduate is on active military duty, OR
  5. Graduate is continuing education.
