School of Diagnostic Medical Vascular Sonography

The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography – Vascular Concentration at Grady Health System has been training exceptional vascular sonographers since 2020.  Vascular sonographers use sound waves and other tools to produce images of the human body.  Our vascular sonography students graduate with entry-level sonography skills in Vascular Ultrasound.  Vascular sonographers are in high demand in hospitals, outpatient centers, and other settings.

Our vascular sonography program awards a certificate from Grady Health System upon graduation. Upon graduation, students who complete our program are qualified to become certified vascular sonographers through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI).

Classes are limited in size. The number of students accepted is dependent on the availability of clinical sites. Our vascular sonography students rotate at multiple affiliate clinical sites and hospitals throughout metro Atlanta. (Gainful Employment Disclosure)
