Program Effectiveness Data

The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography tracks student learning outcomes and program effectiveness data. The data is collected from program statistics and surveys.

The Program adheres to the following minimum standards:

  1. Graduates will attempt to take the SPI, Abdomen Extended and OB/GYN national credentialing exams through the ARDMS.
  2. Graduates will pass the SPI and specialty ARDMS certification exams no later than 1 year from graduation.
  3. Graduates will complete the program within 18 months.
  4. Of those pursuing employment, graduates will be employed within 12 months post-graduation.
  5. Graduates will be satisfied with their education.
  6. Employers will be satisfied with the graduate’s education.
