Dr. Monika Mohiuddin Zakaria was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. She completed her medical education at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (formerly known as I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy) in Russia. In 2011, she completed her Family Medicine Residency at Emory University School of Medicine and began working at Grady. At Grady Brookhaven, Dr. Zakaria serves a diverse patient population. She feels proud and honored to work for Grady and to be able to make a difference in her patients’ lives.
