Originally from Madrid, I moved to the United States when I was in high school. I went to medical school at Emory SOM and completed my residency and fellowship at New York University and Bellevue hospitals. It’s a great privilege to be back at Emory University and work at Grady hospital as well as the Georgia Poison Center. I’m particularly interested in medical toxicology education, mushroom toxicity, and cardiotoxins.
