As medical director of Preadmissions Testing, my responsibilities include drafting and revising preoperative testing guidelines and policies, providing oversight of our midlevel providers via direction of patient care and improvement of clinical efficiency, and acting as a liaison between the Department of Anesthesiology and the various surgical and procedural services around the hospital.
