Dr. Jamie Benarroch-Gampel

Dr. Jamie Benarroch-Gampel, MD, MS

I received my MD degree from La Universidad del Zulia School of Medicine, Maracaibo, Venezuela, in 2003. Then completed his internship and the second year of the general surgery residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College and did the remainder of my residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, where I also received a Master of Clinical Science, health services track, as part of my clinical outcomes research fellowship. Prior to joining the faculty at Grady, I completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. My primary areas of clinical interest are vascular trauma, thoracic outlet syndrome, and venous disease. My research focuses on the use of large databases to evaluate patterns in the use of diagnostic tests, to examine clinical outcomes after vascular surgery interventions, and to assess factors that affect the quality of care.
