Dr. James Hamilton is an assistant professor with the department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. He received his MD degree from the Jefferson Medical College. His postgraduate medical training includes an Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. His interests focus on the comprehensive management of cancerous and non-cancerous tumors of the head and neck, minimally invasive and cosmetic treatment of salivary gland tumors, and restoration of cosmesis and function through microvascular reconstruction. His articles have been published in a number of leading journals including Laryngoscope, the Journal of Thyroid Disorders and Therapy, and the Journal of Otology and Rhinology.
