Dr. Ifeoma O. Onuorah is an Assistant Professor with the division of Cardiology and is the co-director of the Echo lab at Grady Hospital. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Texas medical branch Galveston and finished her medical school training at the University of Texas San Antonio in 2008. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency training at John Hopkins Osler program in Baltimore Maryland and General Cardiology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia in 2014. Prior to joining Emory faculty, Dr. Ifeoma O. Onuorah worked at Dorn Veterans hospital Columbia South Carolina for 2 years. She is boarded certified in Internal medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr Onuorah has special interest in cardiovascular disease in women and in disadvantaged underserved communities.
