I attended college at the University of Rochester and then attended Morehouse School of Medicine. After attending Morehouse and training at Grady Hospital, I selected to attend residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, where I placed an emphasis on obstetrics and critical care medicine. Following residency, I spent 10 years performing obstetrics and simultaneously worked in a critical care facility. For the last 15 years, I have spent time working in level III trauma centers and within a critical care facility. I even had the privilege of providing care to an indigenous community within the state of Alaska. Additionally, my spouse and I raised 5 beautiful children who continue to reside within the Atlanta community. I am very spiritual in my everyday life, and I give all praise and credit to my creator for such a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community.
