Dr. Angela Cheng received her medical degree from the University of Florida, after which she completed her general surgery residency at the University of Texas-Houston, her plastic surgery residency at the University of Virginia, and her breast and microsurgery fellowship at UT Southwestern. Her clinical specialties include breast surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, and body contouring. Her primary research interest is breast reconstruction. Dr. Cheng co-directs the plastic and reconstructive surgery service at Grady with Dr. Robert Fang. She has participated in a variety of quality improvement research projects and dedicates many hours to resident training.
