Dr. Allen L. Dollar received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1981 from Georgetown University and in 1985 he received his MD degree from the University of Maryland. After an Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital, Dr. Dollar completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC in 1988. Dr. Dollar then went on to a Fellowship in Cardiology at the National Institutes of Health and at the Washington Hospital Center which he completed in 1992. Dr. Dollar’s clinical practice with Emory is primarily at Grady Memorial Hospital where he serves as Emory’s section Chief of Cardiology. He holds the academic rank of Associate Professor of Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine.
