Dr. Adekemi O. Egunsola, MD

Adekemi Egunsola, MD is an assistant professor of surgery for Emory University primarily at Grady Memorial Hospital in the department of surgery. Double board certified in general surgery and colorectal surgery, she has particular expertise in benign diseases of the colon (e.g. diverticulitis, Crohn’s, colitis), anorectal diseases (e.g. hemorrhoids, anal fissures), as well as cancers of the colon, rectum and anus. Dr. Egunsola is dedicated to providing patient centered, data driven. cutting edge multidisciplinary surgical care for her patients. Having received her MD degree as well as general surgery residency training from Emory University before leaving in 2019 to complete her Colon & Rectal surgery fellowship at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University in Northwell Health in New York, Dr. Egunsola is proud and excited to be back at Emory and Grady to help serve this wonderful community.
