Dr. Lorenzo Di Francesco, MD, FACP, FHM

Dr. Lorenzo Di Francesco graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a BS in Microbiology and Kinesiology in 1989. He attended Emory University School of Medicine finishing in 1993 and remained at Emory for his Internal Medicine residency from 1993 to 1996. He joined the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics as an academic faculty member in 1997. He served as an Associate Program Director from 2001-2010 and the Program Director for the J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency program from 2010-2016. He is currently a Professor of Medicine and serves as an Associate Vice Chair for Education as well as holds an Associate Chief of Medicine position at Grady Memorial Hospital for the Department of Medicine.
