Gradual hearing loss is common as people age. About a third of Americans between 65 and 75 have experienced some hearing loss. While most types of hearing loss cannot be reversed, our team can usually help improve what people do hear.

Up to 75 percent of Americans have a deviated septum, which makes one nasal passage narrower and can make breathing more difficult. Some patients suffer from chronic sinusitis, adenoids, and polyps, which can also block the nasal passages. These conditions can generally be improved with surgery.

Up to 20 percent of Americans experience a noise or ringing in the ears, a condition called tinnitus. The condition typically is a symptom of an underlying condition and can be improved with treatment.

These cancers account for about 4 percent of all cancers in the U.S. and are more than twice as common among men. People over 50 are more likely to develop these cancers. Treatment can include surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, or a combination of treatments.

The thyroid gland might be larger than usual for many reasons, and most of the time it is not cancer. Goiters and thyroid cancers can be treated with medication, surgery, and other therapies.

Also known as maxillofacial trauma, this is any physical trauma to the face. It can involve soft tissue injures like burns and bruises or fractures that damage the nose, jaw, or eye. Treatment may require surgery.

Our experts collaborate to diagnose and treat hearing loss and tinnitus.
Our team includes experts on diseases of the ear and its connecting structures. They treat balance disorders, infections, ear pain, tumors of the ear, and facial nerve disorders. Treatment may include medication or surgery.
We offer state-of-the-art tests for laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), a condition in which stomach acid travels up the esophagus and reaches the throat.
