Successful completion of a JRCERT-accredited program assures that students have the knowledge, skills, and professional values required for career success. The program was awarded 8 years of continuing accreditation in Fall 2021 – the maximum length of continuing accreditation granted by the JRCERT.
To be an accredited program in radiologic technology, programs must meet the JRCERT Standards. These standards present the minimum accreditation standards for an educational program and include all the requirements for which the program is held accountable. Certification and Licensure Disclosure Statement
The Program of Radiologic Technology at Grady Health System fulfills the curricular requirements for national certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The program is accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). The state of Georgia does not currently require radiologic technologists to become licensed or certified to work in the state of Georgia.
