Stephanie is a Physician Assistant who received her Master of Medical Science and Master of Public Health Degrees from Emory University. Stephanie joined the Grady Infectious Disease Program family in 2012 as a student and in 2013 as a full-time physician assistant in the Family and Youth Clinic. In 2017, she transitioned to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an epidemiologist in the Division of Global HIV & TB, where she works on the Pediatric and Adolescent HIV Team. She leads the Pediatric HIV Treatment and Drug Resistance Unit and serves as a pediatric subject matter expert, providing technical assistance to PEPFAR programs supporting the care and treatment of children and adolescents living with HIV throughout the world. She is also passionate about improving health equity, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community.
