Dr. Marshaleen N. Henriques King, MD, MScr, FCCP

Dr. Marshaleen King is a Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist on faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine and a Physician Consultant at the MagMutual Patient Safety Institute. Her field of interest is pulmonary vascular disease, with special interest in pulmonary hypertension. She is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Dr. King was among the faculty members who developed the patient safety and quality improvement (PS/QI) curriculum for the residency programs at Morehouse. Since then, she has participated in the implementation of the PS/QI program for residents at Morehouse and currently assists residents in designing and conducting PS/QI projects. Dr. King is also Co-Director for the Intermediate Care Unit at Grady Memorial Hospital and participated in the development and implementation of the “Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program” (CUSP) for the unit. Marshaleen completed an Internal Medicine Residency as well as a Faculty Development Program and Master of Science in Clinical Research at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM). She also completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
