Reporting of healthcare performance outcomes has been linked to improved quality over time. Our list of quality report cards, updated quarterly, will help you assess our clinical quality by comparing our performance on specific conditions and procedures to established national standards.

What We Report
Our quality report cards are issued for specific conditions or procedures and compare the quality of our outcomes against the established standards for the treatment of the condition or performance of the procedure.

When available, we have provided national data for comparison to Grady's performance.

How were the indicators selected?
Regulatory and Accrediting organizations have selected a standard set of "indicators" for many of the conditions highlighted in our quality report card. These indicators have been extensively researched to support their use.

How often will the data on this report be updated?
The quality measurements reported on our web site will be updated quarterly. We also report our clinical outcomes data to several Regulatory and Accrediting organizations. These groups report hospital-specific data on their web sites. Each group has determined its own time frame and update schedule. This information is explained on their individual web sites. It is important to note results posted on these sites reflect a rolling 12-month average and may not accurately convey progress toward achieving our quality objectives. For this reason, we have provided our most current quarterly performance. This data has been collected as part of our submission requirements but may not yet be displayed on the sites referenced above.
